Our Participant Agreement is sent out to all our guests and must be completed before the retreat.
The retreat space of Re:Vitalise is a sacred and as safe a space as possible. This means that to feel truly safe it is essential that this group remains private. What’s shared in the group may be sensitive or deeply personal and as such what’s shared in this space should remain in this space.
Everyone on the retreat must pledge to treat one another with the deepest and utmost respect. We ask that you do not offer unsolicited advice to members of our community but rather look to hold space for their experience – there will be opportunities to ask for advice and feedback, however, we ask that you refrain from offering someone your opinion without them first expressing a wish for advice.
The content of this retreat belongs to Mama Lab Retreats, please do not distribute replicate the content without our written permission.
Whilst emotional release is not the aim of your time at a Mama Lab Retreat (the goal is to relax and have some time and space for yourself!) during and after any yoga, ShakeOut, breathwork, meditation, ceremony and self-reflection, it is possible that heavy emotions may arise for integration and healing.
Whilst understanding that support is available within this space, in signing below you take full responsibility for your emotional, mental and physical wellbeing during our time together. You create your own experience, and truly any emotions that arise are welcome, for they signify a time of cleansing and purification.
CLASSES/JOURNEYS/EVENTS OF THIS NATURE CAN POTENTIALLY CATALYSE PERSONAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN EACH OF US. BEING IN THIS SPACE AND PROCESS WILL UNDOUBTEDLY ACTIVATE HEALING AND CHANGE. IN JOINING MAMA LAB RETREATS YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU FEEL READY FOR THIS AND ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SARA, AMANDA AND RACHEL OR MAMA LAB RETREATS IF SUCH CHANGES DO OR DO NOT OCCUR.
It is up to the individual to assess whether they are ready for the programme that they have chosen. If you suffer from specific injuries or disease or mental health issues it is best to consult with your GP first. Similarly, if you are pregnant, seek advice from your doctor regarding your participation in each class.
The practices of yoga asanas, embodiment, movement and breathwork require you – the practitioner – to gauge the safety of your practice within your personal physical limitations. It is always better to build up slowly than to force and strain. Whilst one may feel exertion one should also feel relaxed.
The techniques and suggestions presented in these sessions are not intended to substitute for medical advice. You are strongly recommended to consult your Medical Practitioner before beginning any new exercise or activity.
You are responsible for ensuring that the selection of exercises (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) and the intensity of practice is appropriate for you based on your health history and your level of fitness and mental and emotional health.
We reserve the right to photograph or film our retreats and to use these images for training, product improvement and marketing purposes including social media. It is your responsibility to make clear if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.

- I acknowledge that I have read this form in its entirety and understand my responsibility. I accept the risks, rules and regulations set forth. Knowing these, and having had an opportunity to ask questions which have been answered to my satisfaction, I consent to participate in the programme.
- If I am injured during a class I understand that the teacher will be unable to provide treatment. If injured I will be responsible to seek treatment with my own Medical Practitioner. If I feel unwell during breathwork/Shake Out/yoga/ceremony/sharing etc I will cease the practice immediately and seek medical advice.
- I fully release from liability and waive all legal claims against Sara Smyth, Amanda Ashy, Rachel Bednarksi and Mama Lab Retreats or its trainers for injury or damage I may incur during participation in any of the above mentioned classes.
